Band in the closet entertains you

cybraphon4

Time for some fun and entertainment! Check out the MacBook-powered Cybraphon, an Arduino-based mechanical band all within an antique wardrobe. This robotic band includes an organ, cymbals, a motor-driven Indian Shruti box that’s played with 13 robotic servos and a gramophone. And guess what, the infrared motion detectors sense the audience and the instruments start playing, obviously, not creating noise but instead producing music that’s pleasing to the ear. There are innumerable factors including the amount of attention it gets on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter to help the device determine its mood. You don’t believe me? Well, check it out for yourself!
