Without baffling you too much, allow me to introduce you to the amazing lamp by the Dutch designer, David Graas. On the very first glimpse at it I recalled my geography classes and guess what I was right! Designed on the light emissions from the Netherlands, the cool lamp shows a light map of Holland. The lamp is more shaded where there is less light and brighter in the densely populated regions. Taken from actual space images of the country at night, this lamp is one functionally smart object made by using the scientific data. The whole concept and the end result is simply hypnotic.
