External Refrigerator by Nicolas Hubert has successfully entered the final eight of the Electrolux Design Lab competition. It’s the external cooling refrigerator can be easily hung on the outside walls of modern houses. In northern China food is kept on balconies in the winter to save space and energy. When it’s cold or at nighttime, the low external temperatures are used to provide the right climate for items in the fridge. And when it’s warm, the Sun is used to transform light into energy through solar panels. The simple design, smart look, cool finish all are made keeping in mind the external urban environment. It’s available in range of colors and ambient lighting that add to its sumptuousness making it smart product for contemporary homes.
