Industrial craft in pastel colors: L.U.M. Lamp by François Chambard

What happens when the industrial craft is combined with a heavy dose of creativity spiced up with the influence of 1930s and 1940s Pierre Chareau’s iconic designs and 1960s and 1970s pop, you get L.U.M lamps. The most striking part of these beautiful desk or table lamps by designer François Chambard in my opinion is the use of subtle and soothing pastel colors.

Made of rich materials such as copper, brass and wood with pleasant colors like amber, lemon green or pink make the L.U.M. lamps a beautiful lighting piece, increasing the aesthetic quotient in your house.

The base of the lamp is a wooden stem which gives the lamp an appealing yet distinct look. There is an oversize knob for the dimmer switch and what makes L.U.M. lamps unique is the use of five small Edison bulbs which are left exposed within the metal frame in subdued yet elegant colors. The L.U.M. lamp has surely caught my fancy with such a soft and feminine feel to it, at the same time scoring high on utility part of a table lamp.
