Korea’s LG has designed a green air conditioner for eco-friendly homes. Green in the sense that it sucks juice from the Sun to keep your rooms clean! Its a hybrid central-air unit that gets a small part of its power from a top-mounted photovoltaic solar cell. The air conditioner has the panel that is capable of delivering about 70 watts/hr that LG is claiming to help you take down your carbon footprint by about 450 pounds of emissions over 10 years.
