Combined efforts of designers Stefan Ulrich and Yi-Cong Lu made them the proud winner of Seventh International International Design Award. Grabbing the fourth position, for their ‘Liquid Wall’, design that focuses on the apartment of the future, they’ve got their name added to the proud talented designers. At the center, there is a white room with small strokes that slowly arcs out of the wall to create relief-like bands creeping over the wall into the adjacent areas. When user enters the room, the wall imperceptibly begins to adapt lighting and room atmosphere and provides maximum comfort. Also, there is a seat for the user to relax on while news flashes discreetly run past on the wall. Must say, great design by ingeniously talented designers!
