Reduction of carbon emission is one of the many methods to save our environment. In an effort to contribute toward the welfare of our environment, Panasonic has devised an eco-friendly method of charging gadgets with help of solar-powered charging tables.
This innovative technology is still in the prototype phase and was showcased at the retail tech expo that was held in Tokyo recently. The technology proves to be impressive, and will really help in the reduction of carbon emission.
The concept on which the device works is induction charging. This means, we just have to place the battery of the gadget on the surface of the table and it starts charging without the use of any wires. This table in turn receives its power from its solar panels. Thus, the technology has two benefits: firstly, it is eco-friendly, using only the power from the sun to charge the gadgets and secondly, it is user-friendly, as it is totally wireless.
The technology seems to very useful and we really hope it arrives in the market soon. The product can be installed in offices, malls or coffee shops to enable people to charge their gadgets anytime and anywhere.
