£25,000 bed with computer, iPod dock! It can even stop your snoring

Nothing destroys a beauty sleep quite like a partner snoring away blissfully right next to you. Thank God! Someone thought of inventing a bed that helps you kill the annoying snores without waking up the snorer, or anyone else for that matter. The Starry Night super bed made its debut at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show and showed off some pretty stunning features. The computerized veneration-detection of the bed senses the onset of a snore and a motor automatically lifts the sleeping position forward by 7-degree! The logic behind this military-technology type feature is that it will allow the nasal passage to open and alleviate the snoring. The mattress heats and cools the bed to just the right temperature for you before hand. And if that’s not futuristic enough, then you can always turn to the unit’s 1500 GB built-in computer to aid you with sleeping tips!

And if you still can’t sleep, well then you can catch up on your favorite shows with the super bed’s TV projector that can beam images up to 10-feet onto the facing wall, while the surround sound makes you feel you are actually ‘in’ the show! Music lovers also have a reason to jump into bed early every night as the bed features an iPod docking station and a hard-disc storage capable of holding and playing over 400,000 songs and 2000 hours of video.

The workaholics need not despair either, because the unit also comprises of a powerful computer with an internet connection and a wireless keyboard. The £25,000 bed will go on sale across the U.S. early next year. Till then, all of us have to make-do with our ‘normal’ beds, I guess!
