Shelving units on the walls are very useful especially in small apartments as they don’t eat up the floor spaces. The uses of shelving units are versatile; in the bedroom it is often used in front of the mirrors to stack up accessories and make-up, in the living room you could add artifacts and vases, in the doorway to dump keys, cell-phones, mail and accessories as you enter and leave, the list is endless.
I found the shelving unit by Every Space Design interesting as it integrates nature into the furniture. The chic bamboo shelf comes with glass test tubes inserted in a grid to put in flowers and twigs. Changing the orientation of the shelf from left to right when you feel bored creates a new look altogether. Add a dash of colour to the unit by adding coloured water to different tubes or fill them up with coloured gravel or marbles to give it a new look.
The tubes can be easily dismantled when you want to clean them or fill them up with water. Since the material used is bamboo, it goes well with any type of decor.
