Blown Fabric Light by Nendo is a cool group of lil’ lightings that illuminate in such a way so as to create unique ambience! The blown fabric light installation for the Tokyo Fiber ’09 Senseware exhibition is designed adopting the technique used in glass blowing. The lightings are blown from Smash which is a long fiber non-woven polyester capable of being manipulated into different forms using a hot press form technology. The LED bulbs are machined in and the aluminum sockets are there that serve as an anchor to the hollow forms created by the hand blown Smash. Lovely lightings I must say!
