I suppose the LCD HDTV gig got a little dated for electronics giants Mitsubishi because instead of bringing their own version of the LCD, plasma or DPL, they surprised everyone at the CES 2008 with a Laser TV. So how does this innovation compare with other state-of-the-art high-def sets out there? Well for starters Mitsubishi claim their display can reproduce 80% of the colors visible to the human eye while most high end HDTVs can get up to 40% max. Mitsubishi also say their laser-based unit is capable of producing 3-D experience with their superior clarity and depth perception. Just imagine watching Saw III on this 65′ monster!
