S1055 Extensible Table Series was unveiled at the much popular Milan Furniture Fair this year. The table has a crisp and fresh design. The technique used is innovative and the same time utility focused.
The designing permits automatic opening of the second half of the table top when the other half is extended. The key feature that the table sports is the central leaf. When the table is extended, the central leaf is raised which furthers expands the surface area from a usual 160*100 cm to a good enough 210*100 cm. The central leaf is also not a problem when the table is folded up, the central leaf collapses too and sinks down.
A powder coated steel frame and rounded corners is what sharply marks the appearance of the table, The series is available in variations of beech, oak and walnut. The coating of the series also provide an option between lacquered and veneered styles. The flexibility factor is taken further with the choice of selecting the optimum thickness of the table top varying between 22 to 46 mm. The powder coated steel frame which amplifies the look of the product is carried on a rectangular column which is also the basic shape of the S1055 Extensible Table.
