At instructables, we spotted a desktop lamp that truly deserves to be applauded. The DIY crazy Wooden LED Desk Lamp Project by jeff-o is a great inspiration for all you creative minds out there. The lamp is made using 1/4″ and 1/2″ Baltic Birch plywood, 3 watt LED. The numerous identical parts can be cut in pairs each measuring about 1/4″ which ensures easy assembly. The LED lamp drawing just 3W produces 180 lumens to light up your work area. The total cost for this project was $25-$30. Fair deal I must say!
