Donovan’s Steampunk Devices: Miraculously pretty or bizarre?

Definitely pretty and awe-inspiring. Steampunk aficionado and lighting designer, Art Donovan has showcased his creations at the Steampunk Art Exhibition at Oxford University’s Museum. Here, we have listed some mind-boggling lightning pieces from Donovan’s kitty. The handmade collection includes some miraculously pretty chandeliers, floor and wall lamps plus ceiling mounts. I loved the way each piece has absorbed the influence of antiquity and opulence.

“The Electric Skull” with a skull, solid brass, lights, glass and acrylic, really thrilled me and I also found the ” The Shiva Mandala” exquisitely attractive. One of the most complex Steampunk creation, it is totally inspired by Hinduism, Freemasonry and ancient astronomy.

The great news is that, if your taste buds crave for modern Gothic and Urber-tech creations plus you live some where around Stamford, Connecticut, you can directly have a look at the awe-inspiring collection. For others like me who can not approach the exhibition, check out his website for details related to design and price.
