Electrolux introduces its next-generation of dryers, the ‘Iron Aid Steam Dryer’ that would help you alleviate the pain of ironing your clothes. Well to be precise this machine doesn’t exactly iron clothes but dewrinkles them at the end of the regular drying cycle (20-minute process treats five shirts at a time). This 6 kg condense dryer with a built-in steam generator, works on two different types of steam programs – one allows you to refresh the clothes, while the other helps with the ironing. The steam is generated from a separate container that holds sufficient water for 4 to 10 cycles. The U.K. made device costing $1,145 features delicate programs for linen, wool and silk as well as special heavier options for duvets, curtains and jeans. With its synoptic information screen and simple command buttons it calls for very limited maintenance.
