The Designer: Kim Jin-Gi, the winner of red dot design concept 2010 award.

The concept:
Pebbling is the unique music speaker that uses emotional response and reflection of one’s experience to be controlled.

The Inspiration: The music speaker as the name hints takes the inspiration from the pebbles found in the gardens.

What’s different? Unlike the conventional music speakers, Pebbles is one unique speaker that lets you enjoy music in pretty interactive way. Creative the emotive effect, the speaker works with gestures and no electrical outlets are required.

Features: Pebbles is a digital sound machine that requires the gestures and movements from the users so that it could function the way user wants. To turn on the speaker, user needs to first scatter the pebbles then use the blue tilt button; on the other hand, volume can be altered by making changes in the arrangement of the pebbles.

What’s in for me? The cool features, the way the speaker works in the playful manner. The way it turns on/off and increases/decreases the volume in an interactive way makes the Pebbling music speaker one unique and cool pick.

Reality Check: There are no words on whether the Pebbling concept will see the production stage but this award-wining project is sure to make one of the best home entertainment products for contemporary homes.
