The LED-edgelit LCD panel uses the red laser diodes on top of cyan LEDs to give brighter and better picture. This technology increases the red vividness to many folds and reproduces color to about 1.3 times. This technology or innovation is an answer to Sharp’s Quattron technology which adds yellow to green and blue to improve the color. Edge-lit technology means that the Light Emitting Diodes are situated in the edge of the device. This technology attributes for thinner product and vivid color along with great picture quality.
