Making optimum use of the sunlight is one of the best ways to contribute in lowering down the carbon footprint. Keeping this in mind designer at Harrison and White, an Australian based firm built the strikingly beautiful home in Northcote, Melbourne, Australia. The design in itself is made in such a way that sun-rays enter the home from all directions so that there is no need of electricity. Besides doing benefit to interiors, maximum sun exposure helps the veggies grow in the garden of the house. The designer has craftily used the ‘reverse shadow casting’ on the exterior design and used the recycled plastic decking for the shade screen of the house. The cool architecture is a wonderful source of inspiration for eco-conscious people.
