LG has over the past few years come up with an amazing range of laundry units and is once again in the news for bringing in its new washer. The F1443KD Direct Drive washing machine is capable of handling 11kg of wash with a 78-liter drum without even asking to be expanded beyond its normal 60cm wide dimensions. Large enough to wash 11 bath towels or a king-size 10.5 tog duvet, this smart washer uses ball bearing technology that helps reduce vibration, thereby allowing operation at low noise levels. A “silent wash” makes it for the world’s quietest spin at 52dB. Also, it consumes 20% less energy than the current A-rating washers.
