All you smart consumers out there are well acquainted with Maytag’s efficient Performance washers and dryers. The washers are efficient for the fact that these keep water usage to a minimum and using a sensor (in the dryers) these cut down cycles, which usually are overestimated by the user. Adding feather to the cap, the company is all set to include a “Fresh Hold Option,” a new technology that helps keep the clothes from stinking. Based on the dynamic venting, it uses a fan with a tumble cycle to eliminate the moisture that is still there even after you’re done with the laundry. The new Fresh Hold Option will be added to the 450, 550, and 950 Performance models. Prices start at $1,199.
