Mr.Clock displays time only when you come closer to it

Mr.Clock by Hye-Yeon Park unlike the conventional clocks on market shelves today displays time in a unique interactive way! When you first look at the clock, you actually get the illusion that it has its own personality but it’s not true as it seems to be. It shows you the time only if you stand in front of it! It playfully flips between nonsensical configurations of each seven-segment digit. As the user walks close, it comes back in the form and shows the time, moving away from it make the screen look blank. In some way, the Mr. Clock makes us aware of our relationship to the objects we use to measure time.
