The interactive countertop known as “Oasis” is concept that detects the food and suggests a few tips that you can experiment with. For instance, if you place butter on the countertop, the Oasis will pop up with different recipes you can cook with butter, some helpful hints and nutritional information as well.
It becomes possible because of the depth-sensing camera and palm-top projector that turns the usual work surface into an interactive one. The camera is also capable of tracking the motion of your hand, making the surface interactive at the same time. If you place more than one ingredient on it, the Oasis will hint you with recipes made from those ingredients when mixed together. Seems to be a delicious addition for your kitchen.
