Samsung shows off solar powered transparent TV

Gone are the days when we used to get home the smart electronics by just checking out their smart functionality and cool looks. Today, we are living in the green world where everyone including consumers and manufacturers are very conscious about the green aspect of home products.

There are undeniably the best green deals for eco smart homes but do we human beings are always curious to check out the best and new stuff. For the eco-friend consumers, Samsung has come up with a prototype that would appear to be mimicking the ones in its peer group but then its different.

Most TV flying there on the market shelves are wide, thin, light and even 3-dimensional. There are lot many that make the consumers the proud owner. Yes, I’m talking about the energy efficient TVs.

The latest one introduced by Samsung won’t require electricity to run. Showed off at the CeBIT electronics show in Germany, Samsung television prototype will suck juice from the sun and to keep you entertained. The 46-inch, 1920 x 1080 resolution LCD TV is fully solar-powered and transparent!

The Samsung Solar powered TV prototype is designed to use small amount of energy with the solar panels it is endowed with. The consumers won’t ask for any back-up power sources. The transparency of the TV screen would enable the users to see images on the screen and whatever is behind it. The transparent TV can be used in storefronts as digital window blinds and even in car windshields.
Besides all the cool features mentioned above, the solar powered Samsung TV would also let you to project photos or any other data and features ten-finger touch-screen technology.
No words on the price and availability as it is just a prototype` but if it reaches the production stage and finally hit the market, it will surely leave people dazed so much so that they would want to take one home.
