Designer Thorunn Anradottir has come up with a clock that unlike traditional ones doesn’t look like a time piece instead hanging necklace! Entitled Sasa, it’s a clock that encourages you to relax and let the time flow. ‘Sasa’ in African Kiswahili culture means ‘What is now’.
There’s a cool way to read the time. The color coded necklace lets you read the time with each bead representing a 5 minute increment. After every five minutes, the bead drops down the cord. Orange beads represent hours, gold and silver beads represent noon and midnight, the blue represents minutes. Hey if you ever wished to control the time, you can do it now! Just remove the beads and wear them as a necklace. The clock is produced by HeadsUp Design Company.
