Innovation never ceases to amuse us, I must say. One such innovation which has amused me largely is this room partition cum bookshelf – VÄRE. A room divider at large which can be used for decorative purposes, this piece of furniture is truly a work of genius. I am sure you modest bookshelf cannot hold more than 100 books.
The frame is made of birch. The shelf is made of 19 mm steel pipe and stretched pocketed fabric. The design of the fabric is such that it gives the feel of vibration illusion to the onlooker, which again changes depending on the angle of the onlooker. I simply love this bookshelf.
