In today’s world with the population on an ever increasing rise, space comes at a premium. At this juncture when staying in spacious homes has become a luxury which few can afford, a designer from Singapore, Hiew Lan has come up with a washing machine (no longer a luxury, but a sheer necessity) that can be hung on the wall. Designed for small scale washing this washing machine also known as the iSky Mini Max washing machine is a modern yet simple looking appliance.
Designed with an interactive touch screen interface, the USP of this home appliance is its feature of being wall mountable, which thereby keeps space at the bottom absolutely vacant, and which in turn can be used to satisfy other needs. For interfacing with the end user, the machine has an interactive touch screen surface on the front cover which activates when power is switched on. Using the static sensitive sensors on this panel, the user can program the daily wash cycle as well as the type of wash for his set of clothes. This done, the screen/interface can be locked so as to prevent alteration of the settings by applying palm pressure on a depression on the front cover that has been provided exclusively for this purpose. Reapplying pressure at the depression activates the locked interface.
That the iSky Mini Max washing machine has different washing cycles as well as selectable water levels for each cycle definitely helps to save water – a precious commodity. But, the fact that it is ideal for minimal wash-loads and wall mountable as well makes it an even more ideal appliance for those who are single and usually stay in small homes or for those matchbox families who have minimal members.
