What looks like a gadget straight from the sci-fi movie is a sink. I am sure you also thought like I did, that a sink can never look so sleek and unique. Take a look at this sink, Axolute T.A.O by designer duo Andrea Scarpellini and Francesca Marciano is one of the finalists in Project design competition Axolute 2009.
TAO made of polished white Corian has two units, a cabinet named Yin and the sink named Yang. This elegant and glamorous piece of sink which can easily complete with any other luxurious and sophisticated piece of furniture in your living room has to be fixed up on the wall. There is a wooden top to hide the contact portion on the wall which may spoil the look and feel of the otherwise smooth and glossy sink.
