Flasso Milk Flask helps reduce plastic packaging waste

In some countries milk is delivered in plastic packaging
bags. This means that the milk needs to be transferred to another utensil and
boiled before it can be stored for later use. There are other options that make
using milk simpler like Tetra packs though they are a lot more expensive for
the average Indian household. To tackle the problem of having to transfer milk
from a pouch into a utensil to be boiled before use, designer Subinay Malhotra
has created the Flasso Milk Flask.

The milk flask is basically designed to ensure that pasteurized
milk stays fresher for longer. Thanks to its design, the milk is refilled in
the removable transparent glass milk container in the packaging facility and
does not need to be transferred to another utensil which reduces the chances of
the milk curdling or tampering.

The flash holds about 200 ml of milk at full capacity though
it comes with a ceramic pouring lid that allows the user to heat 100ml of milk
at any given time.

The pouring lid makes it easier for the user to heat only
the desired amount of milk anywhere without having to transfer the milk to another
utensil. This also helps preserve the nutrients in the milk that are lost due
to repeated heating.

The Flasso also allows users to shake the milk in the container
itself which helps make milk frothy instantly as well. The multiple part construction
of the flask also makes it easier to clean and disinfect and its reusable construction
helps it reduce plastic waste.
