Gradient lamp lets you adjust the light intensity

gradient light

Designed by Camille Blin, Gradient Lamp takes the inspiration from the basic idea of solar eclipse. Just like the sunlight is concealed by the moon, in the same manner the lamp is designed to regulate the intensity of light. Based on a very simple concept, the lamp provides the required amount of light by rotating the large silk-screened glass disc manually. The color variation printed on the glass allows the greatest range of different intensities.

The size of the disc is determined by the length of the used standard light tubes, which are integrated into the stand of the lamp. The light stand is made of an extruded anodized aluminium shell with an integrated fluo compact tube. The glass disc is silk screened, with gradients from opaque black to translucent. Its round geometric and traditional shape makes it an object of contrasts both in shape and in terms of concept.
