The Product
After the grand showcasing of the latest HDTVs on the CES runway – some of the Panasonic and Samsung models have already hit the market – albeit low-end models – because the higher-end models will take more time to be available in the retail outlets. This information has been confirmed after David Katzmaier tweeted about having found lower-end models of HDTVs in the retail outlets along with leaked information of the priced of these 2011 models.

Key Features
These TVs are the latest in line with LED technology in LCD and plasma TVs and had lately been unveiled in the CES runway. They have the state-of-the –art technology with unbeatable features producing great images on the screen by using the latest LED (Light emitting diode) technology.

What’s in for me?
At present, you will only find the lower-end models in the retail outlets, so if you are targeting the higher-end models like the Panasonic VT30 instead of the much cheaper 51” 3D Samsung D490 plasma that would cost you $969 then you will have to keep some patience as those models will gradually come into the market.
Should I buy? These HDTVs are for the consumers who are TV enthusiasts – plus it will also be a prized possession for anyone due to the high quality definition you get to enjoy while watching any of your shows on TV. The higher-end models do cost a fortune, so the people who have a limited budget can always indulge in the pleasure of a lower-end HDTV model.

Price & Availability
Some sites such as HDGuru have already leaked the prices of Panasonic HDTV models with specifications whereas the AVSForum will provide you indications of the MAP on LG’s range of LED plasmas and LEDs – so it would be a good thing to search the sites and figure out what suits your budget. If you have a lot of cash – then you might as well decide to buy yourself a grand 72” 72LZ9700 LG LCD that would cost you a whopping 10g!
