Miyo Lamp by Silke Steinberg: An ‘Origami’ based home light

Miyo Lamp

Silke Steinberg’s design of the Miyo Lamp has a clear origami influence with its perfect folds and lines. When the Miyo Lamp is lit, the aura of the light emanating from this origami-inspire lamp is extremely amazing as the folds define the light and its luminous intensity. The more the folded segments are opened the intense the brightness of the lamp.

The Miyo Lamp is very flexible and therefore you can keep experimenting and changing the structure of the lamp according to the kind of shape and illumination required and also as the occasion demands. The entire structure of this lamp is one complete whole and the segments are all interconnected with one another.

Any movement in the segments would cause the entire structure and look of the lamp to alter. This feature of customizing the Miyo lamp makes this lighting equipment a very personalized one.

The Miyo lamp is available in different colors, sizes (there are two sizes available) and haptics – that can be customized to make an individual Miyo Lamp creation. This lamp is a great asset to people who enjoy experimenting and changing forms and also for those that are keen on symmetry. All in all a great design!
