The mutli-room lighting control kit helps you control lights, lamps, appliances etc. with a web-based Smartphone device (pictured above). The kit includes a number of devices, such as a smartlinc, one 8-Button KeypadLinc, Four SwitchLinc dimmers (dual-band) and two SwitchLinc switches, One OutletLinc, One Lamp Linc. Now, with INSTEON, it’s perfectly possible to schedule lights to turn on and off automatically or check if the lights are off/on.
SmartLinc
It can be plugged into an outlet and then connected with the router to all Insteon enabled devices. It has special features like sunrise and sunset timers, day-of-week timers and turn on multiple lights at the same time features etc.
One 8-Button KeypadLinc –
The perfect replacement for a standard wall switch can control about a group of 8 devices at a time along with its own inbuilt 600Watt dimmer. It should be ideally placed near the front door or bed room to have a quick access over all lights.
Four SwitchLinc dimmers (dual-band) and two SwitchLinc switches
These replace existing switches. The dimmers can control incandescent loads up to 600 Watts. It can also feature dual-band technology, which allows them to send and receive signals via the power line and radio frequency. The switches control, non-dimming loads such as fluorescents and motors.
One OutletLinc
This is a replacement for existing outlets. It provides a controlled outlet (top) and an always-on outlet which are rated up to 15 Amp ,it is ideal for controlling a wide varieties of lamps, fans and other appliances.
One LampLinc –
It is meant for controlling dimmable floor lamps or table lamps. It has features like adjusting ramp rate and present on-level for custom lighting scenes.
