Plexiglass by Lijmbach, Leeuw and Vormgeving is a pretty lighting that whether in on or off mode, leaves the spectator spell bound. I won’t be wrong in saying that it’s a light with a hidden light source! What actually happens is, the energy saving bulb beneath sends light through the plexiglass rods, where it is clear the light within bounces back and the point where the plexiglass is matt the light breaks out thereby causing the matt tips of the plexiglass rods to glow. When the tips glow, the rods themselves seem to disappear as these are transparent thereby making the pixelglass glow miraculously.
