By Rosalie de Boer, this table is eco-design personified. At first look it is just a steel table with four legs, but as you take a holistic look you realize that along with its four legs and three steel leg quarters it also has a living tree. The existence of a non-living thing is balanced by the presence of a living thing. The presence of the tree supplements the presence of the table, making it a living one. It also symbolizes the importance of trees not only for our existence, but also to balance everything on the planet. This design is as creative as the design of the catcher bookshelf that you saw a few days back. This similarity in creativeness can be attributed to the fact that both the things are designed by the same designer.
