Treehugger writes about the digital wallpaper that will glow with sunlight-like coloring, and consume a fraction of the energy of an overhead lamp in the room. The government-backed Carbon Trust has handed over $720,000 grant money to Lomox for developing the wallpaper inspired by the thin OLED televisions. As the Financial Times reports, the technology could be out as quickly as 2012.
