10 water purifier concepts to ensure absolute hygiene

water purifier concepts

With the change in the lifestyle and increased speed of life not even humans but natural resources have also changed. Increased pollution, deforestation and many other factors are responsible for contamination of water, that is why it has become a necessity to have a water purifier in every house and buy packaged water where ever we go. A home without a water purification system is not a home, they say. Here is a list of ten water purifying system that ensures absolute hygiene:

1. C-Water

C-Water

C-Water is a water purification concept that was even an entry in the Incheon International Design Awards. The C-Water concept uses a natural technique to collect a purified water that can ensure absolute hygiene. The concept makes the use of distillation process to collect the water. In this process, the C-Water is kept on a calm water surface and let the sun do its work. When the water gets evaporated it gets collected in a container which is pure water. After the container is filled to the required level, you can collect the water.

2. Crystal clear water purifier

Crystal clear water purifier

Research showed that not every person drinks the full glass of water which they fill. The residual fresh water is discarded as impure water. Stats show that as much as 109,500,000,000 liters of fresh drinking water just goes waste every year worldwide. Now that is a big number. Thinking about this, a concept is designed in which this discarded water gets converted into clean air which helps the atmosphere to be fresh which can enhance every person’s health.

3. Oasis water purifier

Oasis water purifier

The concept designed by Yura Lee is a purifying system that is perfect for contemporary homes that are fast paced, especially in the urban areas. The concept not only works as a water purifier and gives a clean water but also works as an air purifier and a humidifier. The concept works on a very simple process. It filters the clean drinking water. The discarded water goes to a plant. This plant is a source of cleaning the water and also balance the humidity of the atmosphere. Simple but clever concept.

4. Aqualris

Aqualris

Industrial designer Talia Radford considered a very deep situation. Talia thought of making a design that works as a water purifier as most of the diseases people suffer from are related to drinking unhygienic water. Not only this, Talia also considered the fact that every water purifier in the market runs on electricity but electricity is not present everywhere. He designed a concept which runs non-electrically. Yes, it does not run on electricity instead, it uses sun’s rays to create UVC frequency which then purifies the water. What an innovative idea?

5. STER UV sterilizer concept

STER UV sterilizer concept

Considering the United Nations estimate that by 2025 more than two-thirds of the population of the world will be striving to get access to fresh drinking water, industrial designer Olivia Belchschmidt decided to do something for this. Olivia has designed a water purifying concept that makes the use of UV light to cleanse the water. The design is sleek, compact, simple and light to be portable. All you need to do is stir the glass of water using the product and the water is purified. But, what makes this design stand out from the other water purification systems present in the market that use UV technology to purify the water? It is the conservation of energy. As there is neither any heating nor moving part in this design, it uses minimal energy to purify the water.

6. Swater water purifier

Swater water purifier

Swater water purifier is a concept designed by industrial designers Chun Yen Tsao and Hsing Tan Yang. The design is made in such a manner that it works not only as a water purifier but also as a water collector. The round-shaped portable design makes use of solar energy to work. The device has photovoltaic cells on it that help to generate renewable energy for the device to work.

7. Cole Dobson water purifier

Cole Dobson water purifier

The Cole Dobson water purifier does not use electricity to work but uses solar energy to purify the water. The concept uses the natural processes of evaporation and condensation to collect the purified water. The purification system is designed in such a way that you pour in the dirty water in the system. The pure water gets evaporated using sun’s rays. This evaporated water gets collected using a slanting ceiling of the device where the water condenses and falls into the lower chamber of the device where pure water gets collected.

8. H2O Water Cycle

H2O Water Cycle

H2O water cycle is a concept designed by industrial designer Diego Andres Martinez. The purification system makes the use of solar power to purify the water. It uses natural processes to purify the water. The purification of water is divided into three stages. First, Sodis, a process in which water is purified using the sun’s UV-A rays to remove harmful pathogens. Second, the water is vaporized and converted into steam so that the impurities are left behind. Third, the vaporized water is condensed to get the pure water.

9. Rewave water purifier

Rewave water purifier

The Rewave water purifier uses the wave energy of the sea to generate energy. The sea water, which is salty is taken in by the device. Then the salty water is desalinated, that is the salt and the water is separated. The water collected after desalination is the pure water. The device simply floats on the water surface and generates energy from the waves.

10. Aquaovo’s Ovopur

Aquaovo’s Ovopur

What if you get an eco friendly stylishly designed water purifying system in your home? Would not it be great? That is what Aquaovo’s Ovopur gives you. The device purifies the water using the natural process of sedimentation. The device is eco friendly because it uses gravity instead of electricity to do its job.
