The designer duo Céline Merhand and Anaïs Morel have been working together under the label Les M for last three years and have so far created a number of user friendly, multipurpose items of home decor. The duo has also been nominated at the City of Paris ‘Grand Prix de la Création’ in 2010.
Precious is their latest creation and is a multipurpose mirror with rounded corners and a wooden frame. The frame encapsulates a number of subtly placed built-in drawers and hooks for storage of jewelry and alike items. The mirror has a pull out bar with hooks attached on it on which necklaces and other accessories can be easily hung. There are a couple of removable boxes also in which one can keep one’s rings, cosmetics and other such items. The design of the frame gives the user freedom to assemble the boxes in various permutations and combinations to create an ever changing look.
The mirror can be a really useful item for working women who can dress appropriately in the wee hours of morning by placing all the accessories together in the boxes and hooks one day before. Precious is actually precious in every sense of word.
