An interactive music player that mirrors your stress and relaxation level

Dandan by Anna Raetsen and Marieken Oostrom is an interactive music player that mirrors the stress or the relaxation level of the user. In the stress mode the four speakers .i.e. the left, the right, the woofer and the tweeter can be adjusted with the minimum movements. The further you pull a speaker from the base, the louder its volume is. In a relaxed environment, the player is less sensitive and the speakers have to be removed from the base and have to be placed far from it to generate loud volume. The player is more like a gettoblaster, which can create surround sound in every place. The player has built-in sensors and LEDs to make it work in combination with phidget interface kit, which is connected to a PC with USB and the track functionality is also more sensitive in stress mode. It requires almost no touch compared to a longer touch in relaxed mode.
