Betsy is controlled via an integrated tablet (Motorola Xoom), which runs on latest version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich. One of the most striking features about this Keg is that before it can start pouring out your beer, it needs to be authenticated in order to prevent brews from unauthorized drinkers.
‘Besty’ the KegDroid runs on a touchscreen Android tablet, which demands a NFC ID card to log in to the device. Once you get authenticated, Betsy will capture your Google+ photo and name. Using the custom app on the tablet, users can decide on the choice and quantity of the beer to be poured out of this machine. After making the selection, you just have to open the tap and fill your glass with chilled beer.
