The Designer

This wooden table has been designed by Uruguayan artist Claudio Sibille.

Overview

Dubbed as the transformer cupboard, the table is a great pick for compact homes. The sleek coffee table with clean lines and a chic seam will be loved by all those who have a thing for modern pieces. Tuck it away in a quiet corner or use it as a centerpiece, either ways, the table will look absolutely ravishing in your home.

What’s unique

The most striking feature of the table is the fact that it houses two benches inside. The benches are of the same height as the table and are slotted just underneath the top surface. By detaching the benches from the table, you will transform it into a cozy seating area with a capacity for about two to four people. This seating space has two rectangular wooden benches and a small glass table placed in between them. The glass table has a transparent top and a white metal stand as the base.

High Points

When the benches are attached to the table, you have a medium sized coffee table at your disposal. After the benches have been separated, you have a smaller coffee table with additional seating space. This extra space comes in handy when you have guests over.

Features and specifications

The table looks quite suave even when the benches are attached to its base stand. It is definitely one swish looking piece made from wood and glass; cedar, tempered glass and chrome pipe have been used in its construction. It is quite sturdy as the wood used to build it is fairly thick. The table comes in two different varieties; one has a round table-top while the second one has a square shaped top. Both pieces will look absolutely exquisite in your home.
