Coodo Modular Units make mobile homes look classy

Mobile homes aren’t known to be the epitome of architecture
in any part of the world. These homes are designed to make unconventional living
easier and provide a high level of functionality which may not always be very
comfortable to live in or elegant to look at.

But that aspect of mobile homes did not stop Coodo!, the Kranj-based
design studio, from creating Coodo.

The mobile homes are more like modular minimalist rooms that
can be placed virtually anywhere to create a collection of rooms, a multi-part
home or even a small residential complex.

The project basically uses a hollow cube like structure as a
starting point. Its rounded corners provide the units with a sense of tranquility
and poshness though it is the fact that their “walls” are fashioned out of
glass which makes the project a lot more impressive.

They also conceal within them the essential of modern human accommodation
i.e., power system, installation features and cooling/heating elements.

The Coodo Modular Units are created to provide home owners a
greater control over their homes.

The users can actually move each of the units around and
place them near the water, on a meadow, in a lawn, on the beach or even in a
parking lot if you fancy an industrial setting. Design wise, the units are
created to allow prefab home construction a lot more intuitive and simpler.

Depending on the owner’s choice, the openings can be left
uncovered if the unit is being used as a covered porch or given sliding glass
doors, door with blinds or even bamboo and canvas meshes to create highly
personalized rooms and homes.

Each one of these units can also be stacked to created
multi-storey homes.
