A kitchen so finely embedded with hi-tech controls that it was featured on Fox59 Morning News. Each area of this kitchen and dining is controlled by hi-tech gadgetry. Its so flattering for this kitchen that If I were there i would only stay in the kitchen. Systems designer Distinct AV has placed a 19-inch LG HDTV over the under-lit crushed glass bar table. The HDTV can be used as a web browser too, with the help of a wireless gyration keyboard and mouse. Eight zones in the kitchen and dining area is controlled by Colorado vNet lighting controls and all the control interfaces are provided by RTI K4 and ReQuest IQ touch screen.
All cameras, including roof PTZ camera is displayed on K4 in-wall touch screen. It also displays a web cam called, cove cam that helps to know about the local water conditions. The Homeseer control system macros are also set in with some of the most convenient pre-set programming. When you press the ‘prepare dinner’ buttons, lights, TV and audio are adjusted and on pressing the button ‘entertain guests’ a different volume and mood is set. If you want to watch TV , just press the button, ‘go watch TV’ and It will turn on the living room TV, at the same time turning off the kitchen lights.
