Modern living in nature’s bosom

Blending the best of modern life and a life in nature, Spanish firm Abaton has come up with the design and prototype of a portable home. The name ÁPH80 may seem prosaic but living in it is definitely sheer poetry!

Externally, this home which can easily be lugged around on a truck, looks like a simple child’s drawing. It is easily set up in any space, on a flat terrain.

The shape is rudimentary. However, once the walls part, a new world opens up. The house has been equipped with the best facilities in terms of furniture, lighting and living space. Obviously, it must be deriving its power through solar panels and batteries.

And when the house seems to get a bit claustrophobic, all one has to do is to part the walls and bring in the beautiful outdoors. The house will also serve as a perfect viewing station. If you don’t like the view, all that you have to do is move over to a new location!

Of course, the decor withing can all be modified and adapted according to one’s tastes. Flexibility and versatility are the house’s chief strengths.
