Sophisticated Bachelor Apartment by Angelina Alexeeva

A bachelor’s pad is often dreaded because common belief is that it needs a woman’s touch to transform a house into a home. Keeping this in mind, a woman designer, Angelina Alexeeva, has come up with an apartment visualization which would delight any bachelor. This Moscow apartment sure has a masculine appearance.

One of the foremost techniques that the designer has innovated is the use of dark colors along with sophistication.

Added to this is the presence of large windows with thin curtains which allow ample natural light within the home. This combination has a magical way of clearing clutter in a living space and making it look clean.

All the furniture used is modern and minimalist. The lighting for the spaces resembles a piece of art more than a simple bulb or tube. The wooden flooring stands out well with the dark brown wall and the grain in the wood ensures that the floor has a clean and neat appearance even on days when there is no vacuum-cleaning.

One must however confess that the monotony of the color and sophistication definitely hits any visitor. That might be one of the prime reasons why a woman mind find it tough to live in here. The house has an appearance which is more akin to an office rather than a home. Even the sheets and pillows on the bed, the portraits and paintings on the walls, the towels and foot-mats in the bathroom and the tables throughout the house embody the same color schema. What is considered sophisticated by a bachelor might well be termed ‘boring’ by anyone else!

All said and done, the apartment is definitely a haven of luxury and comfort. Beauty, after all, lies in the eyes and heart of the beholder.
