Fully loaded: LG unveils Blu-ray home theater system at CES

Throughout the year 2008, companies around the globe dropped Blu-ray home theater systems but LG had some other plans. Biding its time well and keeping to its tradition of smart home products, the company has rolled out LHB979, smart home theater system at CES 2009.

What’s different? The 5.1-channel system includes sleek and slim tower fronts, smaller rears that can be connected wirelessly, built-in iPod dock and 2 separate HDMI inputs with champagne-glass front-tower speakers adding to its magnificence. In addition to the integrated iPod dock, the LHB979 includes support for streaming from online Netflix, CinemaNow, and YouTube. Two HDMI inputs, ability of being used to toggle audio and HD video between external sources such as DVRS, cable/satellite boxes and game consoles are the additional traits. Unique techie features and smart looks to go well with your trendy home is what makes the LHB979 Blu-ray Home Theater System simply outstanding.
