Living Light from Studio Floris Wubben is a new way of lighting where to light up the surroundings a living plant is used, Amaryllis. This lighting consists of a base and a glass cylinder. A corresponding neon lamp is attached to the foot of the unit. The glass cylinder is also placed in the foot. The hollow stem of the plant is placed over the lamp, creating a lighted plant. At the same time the base of the unit also has water, which is held in with a watertight seal. Isn’t this creation with a dual face, a plant that lights to light up its own existence?
