The urban logs collection from Ilan Dei Studio focuses on urban renewal, as each piece in the collection gives new lease of life to trees. These removed trees would have either been a waste or would have been used for firewood. Every piece has a unique shape, texture and color, owing to the natural material of the furniture collection. This naturalness in the furniture has been contrasted with orange tube, orange upholstery and smoky copper tinted mirrors. The collection drew inspiration from various pieces of unusual logs that were found around the studio. Redwood and white oak was used for table, chairs and lights respectively in the first run of the collection.
