4Home and Marvell together have introduced to the world a plug computer, which features a Plug ‘n’ Play energy management. This 2GHz Sheeva plug is a smart meter, which measures power consumption right from the outlet. It also allows you to know for yourself if any light in the house is left switched on. It is basically a miniature Linux computer designed with Marvell in partnership with 4Home. I know this is a great thing, but the sad part is the price and its release date has not been told yet, so you will have to wait on that front. It is to be showcased at CONNECTIONS Conference.
