We all know that the light travels in a straight line, but designer Paul Cocksedge challenges this Fermat’s Principle with the floor light named “Pole.” A table plus a floor lamp, this illumination source bestows with the light that passes by bending the simple, but curved lamp design. The Pole promises a light of choice you like to adjust with. Be it dim, focused or directional, the simple design makes use of a small amount of material but with a big implementation. The light source is pushed within a concrete base, from where light moves through an optical grade, all through the transparent rod, and finally makes it in the form of bright beam. Pretty impressive indeed!
