Smart C3 Kitchen is completely future ready

Smart devices are all around us. We have become quite accustomed
to these touch screen devices and are generally quite at ease using them. Since
tablets and smart phones already provide us with a vast range of apps that can
be used to gauge the nutritional value of foods, to keep track of what’s in the
fridge, to provide recipes and cooking instructions on the go and for making one’s
time in the kitchen much less hassle free than it had been in the past for
amateur cooks.

The C3 Smart Kitchen concept by designer Orlando Mendoza is
an extension of the technology that already exists though it does present the concept
of a fully smart kitchen in a much more coherent way. The kitchen comprises of
a number of diverse technologies all of which are tied together via the use of
interactive touch surfaces.

For example, you can place a fruit on the kitchen counter
and its nutritional value, weight and even the recipes that use it etc. would
be displayed on the surface itself.

Similarly, all the appliances in the kitchen
like wine racks, microwaves, ovens, the fridge and the cook top too would feature
similar touch-enabled smart displays that would allow users to pick and choose
presets, functions etc. without having to press a number of buttons on each
appliance.

There are also a number of options that allow users to view recipes
on displays mounted at eye level which simplifies the process of following and
studying recipes and instructional videos as well.
